A New Pink Begins

This beautiful couple asked me to take maternity pictures for them.  It was such a pleasure getting to know them and seeing their excitement grow as they quickly approach parenthood.

Spring Baby

This cute baby girl was so easy to work with.  She slept for an entire hour and a half while we took her pictures and moved her all over the place.  This entire shoot was done with natural light in her home.  I like to do baby sessions from their home to make it personal.  All of the blankets were made by the baby's mom and it gave the entire session more meaning.

Everything Blooms in the Spring

My lovely friend decided last minute to get a few maternity pictures taken.  Seeing how it is still raining in the PNW I told her to be at the ready for my phone call when the weather would cooperate.  We were lucky enough to capture these pictures before the blossoms were gone.

 

In the Wind

I really enjoyed my session with this family.  We had a great time despite the initial wind we encountered.  I photographed this session near the end of the day so that we could have the "golden hour" of sunlight.  The light was bright and beautiful.  I also had a friend assist me with a reflector to keep all of the shadows out of the family's faces.

Valentine Wedding

I was asked to photograph's this couple wedding reception, and before the festivities began I was able to get a few shots with the bride and groom.  In these photos it was mostly cloudy with the sun getting ready to set and was already obstructed by the trees in the background.  I chose to use an off camera flash to light their faces so there wouldn't be any harsh shadows.

Sugar is Sweet

This beautiful girl had just turned five-months-old.  These photos were taken in their home with natural morning light streaming through the windows.
